Matt Baggett is the founder and Managing Partner of Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers, which he established in Jacksonville in 2012 after beginning his career defending Fortune 500 companies at one of Northeast Florida’s largest firms. BACKGROUND & CREDENTIALS

Matt was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but spent much of his childhood in Illinois and California before returning to his home state to attend the University of Florida, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science with honors in 2001. He went on to earn his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2005, was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year, and had his trial instincts recognized early, winning first place in the 2003 Wayne Hogan Trial Competition while still in law school.

Before founding Baggett Law, Matt spent his early career on the defense side, representing Fortune 500 companies at a prestigious Jacksonville firm. That work gave him direct insight into how insurers and corporate defense teams evaluate and resist claims, insight he now applies on behalf of injured plaintiffs.
