Amanda Baggett is a founding partner of Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers in Jacksonville, Florida, where she has practiced alongside her husband and law partner, Matt Baggett, since 2015. BACKGROUND & CREDENTIALS

Amanda was born in Hannibal, Missouri, and raised outside Atlanta in Marietta, Georgia. She earned a degree in advertising from the University of Georgia before pursuing law, attending classes at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and the University of Notre Dame’s London Law Centre before completing her J.D. at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2003.

Before joining Baggett Law, Amanda spent years as a partner at Rogers Towers, Jacksonville’s oldest and largest law firm, where she worked as defense counsel for engineers and contractors in personal injury and wrongful death cases stemming from roadway design and construction issues. That vantage point, seeing how insurers and defense teams build their arguments, now informs how she builds cases from the plaintiff’s side.

Amanda is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar, a distinction that gives her direct insight into cases involving road defects, construction-zone accidents, and infrastructure failures, issues that intersect with car accidents, truck accidents, and catastrophic injury claims more often than most firms account for. She is a frequent author, presenter, and lecturer on construction law topics and serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Beyond her caseload, Amanda has served on the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee, the Fourth Judicial Circuit’s Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee, the Early Learning Coalition of Duval, and boards including MOSH and Jacksonville Country Day School.
